Day-by-Day Itinerary
Guwahati – Shillong: Morning arrival in Guwahati. Later drive to Shillong, visit Umium Lake, Wards Lake, Don Bosco Museum. Check-in to the hotel. Dinner & overnight stay in Shillong.
Cherrapunji Excursion: After breakfast you will be travelling to Cherrapunji – the wettest place on the earth. En- route visit the famous Elephanta falls and Shillong Peak at Cherrapunji visit – Mawsmai Cave, Seven Sisters Falls and Nohkalikai Falls. After lunch drive back to hotel, dinner & overnight stay in Shillong.
Shillong – Dawki – Mawlynnong – Shillong: After breakfast visit Dawki (Bangladesh Border) enjoy clean water boating (subject to weather condition) Then transfer to Mawlynnong the cleanest village in Asia, then visit living root bridge. Later transfer to Shillong. Overnight stay in Shillong.
Shillong – Tenga: After breakfast drive to Tenga via Tezpur – the beautiful historical town of Tezpur is well known for its ancient temples and ruins. Overnight in Tenga.
Tenga – Tawang: After breakfast check out hotel and drive to Tawang. On way experience the beauty of Sella Lake in Sella Pass. On reaching Tawang you can see the great Tawang Monastery from a great distance. Dinner & overnight Stay in Tawang.
Tawang: After breakfast proceed for Bumla Pass & Madhuri Lake, en-route visit Pankang Teng Tso (P.T.Tso Lake) close to the Chinese Border. Return in the evening. Overnight stay in Tawang.
Tawang – Tenga/Dirang: After breakfast check out from hotel & drive towards Dirang. Dinner & overnight stay in Tenga/Dirang.
Dirang - Kaziranga: After breakfast check out hotel & drive towards Kaziranga. Upon reaching hotel check-in hotel. Evening enjoy the Bihu Dance. The Bihu dance is an indigenous folk dance from the Indian state of Assam related to the Bihu festival and an important part of Assamese culture. Dinner & overnight stay in Kaziranga.
Kaziranga – Guwahati: After breakfast proceed for Elephant safari early in the morning in the central range of the park for one hour. Afterwards back to the hotel for breakfast. Then proceed for the Jeep safari into the core of the Kaziranga forest. Later transfer to Guwahati in the evening you can have leisure time in the Bhramaputra river cruise (Sundown Cruise). Overnight stay in Guwahati.
Guwahati Departure: After breakfast visit to Maa Khamakhya Temple, Balaji Temple & then visit to Umananda temple. Later drop to airport for your return journey.
